Wedding Fees for non-members are “all-inclusive”. The charge for the wedding is $650* and includes the use of the church and the services of the custodian, organist, sound technician and pastor. The use of the fellowship hall is an additional $150 and includes the services of the custodian. These fees are not reduced or discounted if any of the included services are not utilized. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold a date for a wedding. All fees must be paid to the church office at least two weeks in advance of the wedding and will be disbursed by the church treasurer. As the representative of our church and denomination, the Pastor of Emanuel United Church of Christ must officiate, co-officiate, or otherwise be involved in the planning and carrying out of all weddings held at the church. At the Pastor’s discretion, all couples will be required to participate in premarital discussion with the Pastor. No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted within church facilities. The church center aisle is 51’ long. * The above fee structure was approved by the Consistory of Emanuel United Church of Christ at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2004. This amount is subject to change upon Consistory approval. Once a deposit is placed, the fee schedule is locked in for your date.
