We are delighted to welcome Rev. John Lawrence as our interim pastor during this season of transition. John brings over 30 years of pastoral experience, having served primarily in United Methodist congregations, with his most recent ministry at Mt. Zwingli UCC. John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Theology with an emphasis in youth ministry and music from Houghton College, and later completed his Master of Divinity at United Theological Seminary. His deep passion for people and commitment to sharing God’s love have been hallmarks of his ministry throughout the years. Outside of church life, John enjoys writing music and poetry and cherishes time spent with his family. He and his wife, Joyce, are blessed with three adult children and five grandsons. John’s love for the Lord shines through in all he does, and he looks forward to getting to know each of you personally as we journey together. Please join us in welcoming Rev.
